The route downward is hidden behind a false maintenance chapel deep beneath the harmonic chambers; a shrine no larger than a pantry wedged between resonance conduits thick as ship masts. The altar is covered in pearl dust and burnt offerings. Hundreds of tiny prayer strips drift gently in the current above it.
