Inverscaddle
Created during the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020. Inverscaddle Bay, Lochaber, Scotland, 6am. For those folk who could not be here we've brought the bay to you.
All our love, Nick and Mary Ann - Watercolour Music.
The 'Bubbles' are created by the returning tide creeping over the sandy foreshore and 'Linnhe' is a tuned hydrophonic recording from a canoe out on the loch. The song is 'Maighdeannan na h-Àirigh' (The Sheiling Maids) by exiled Lochaber poet Iain Mac Ille Bhrath. The mouth of the glen is now known as Aryhoulan 'Àirigh Ghualain' after a summer pasture that was originally situated beneath Sgùrr an Iubhair.
Air a dhèanamh ri linn Lèir-ghalair a' Chorònabhìreas ann an 2020. Camus Inbhir Scathadail, Loch Abar, Alba, 6m. Dhuibhse nach eil air chomas a bhi an làthair an-seo, tha sinn a' toirt thugaibh a' chamuis fhèin.
Le gaol is gràdh bho Nick is Màiri Anna, Watercolour Music.
Tha 'Bubbles' air a chruthachadh le fuaim muir-làn air an traigh-gainmheachadh agus is e 'Linnhe' clàradh fo-thonn gleusaichte bho chanù a-muigh air an loch. Is e an t-òran 'Maighdeannan na h-Àirigh' le Iain Mac Ille Bhrath, Iain a' Phìobaire. Is aithnear beul a' ghlinne mar 'Àirigh Ghualain' an-diugh air ainmeachadh air àirigh a bha na suidhe fo Sgùrr an Iubhair bho thùs.
