Morning by the Bogwitch's Pond
The bogwitch's pond is hidden deep in an isolated cavern that is sheltered from the winds and outsiders. Open to the warm sunshine, a waterfall from the outside world cascades over the edge of the high rocks that surround and protect the inhabitants from danger. The mist from the falling water suggests rainbows in the morning sunlight and lands delicately on all the irises that grow here in gentle solitude. Water laps at the edge of the bog while the frogs serenade the bogwitch as she stoops to gather her herbs.
