Summer at the Pond
It is a warm summer afternoon, and you are spending the rest of your day, with your dog, relaxing in your little treasure of the forest. A pond lies in front of you as you sit on the wooden dock and unravel your beach towel. Birds sing in the distance as you notice the green leaves and branches reach from different ends of forest and lightly dip into the water below. The warmth of the sun is dripping into the scene between the cracks in the treetops, and everything you see is enveloped in shades of bright green and orange. You pull out a book and take in the scent of earth and pine.
